Overview
Path is a task companion for people who struggle to start or sustain momentum — the ADD/ADHD-shaped problem of staring at one monolithic task and not knowing where to begin. Instead of another list, Path breaks a big, vague task into a sequence of clear, achievable steps, and lets you keep breaking any step down until the first move feels small enough to just do.
The idea
Path is a project of Totally Wizard, a two-person studio — and neither of us is a developer by trade. It exists as a demonstration: proof that a small team can now design and ship a genuinely complete product with AI as the engine of both the design and the build. Nothing here is a mock-up. It's a working app, front to back.
What it does
The core interaction is decomposition. You give Path a task, it proposes a breakdown, and any step that still feels overwhelming splits into two smaller steps on demand. Around that sit the things a real product needs — accounts, memory, and a voice of its own:
One-click decomposition
Any step that still feels too big can be split into two smaller ones with a single click — momentum instead of overwhelm.
Memory that learns you
Path retains context and learns about you at both the user and the project level, so breakdowns get more relevant the more you use it.
Reminders in Path's voice
Brand-aligned reminder emails nudge you back to the next step without the generic productivity-app noise.
Real, secure accounts
Full authentication — email/password sign-up, email confirmation, and password reset — not a throwaway demo shell.
A look inside
The day starts as three small steps, not a wall of tasks. Open any task and it's already broken down — and if a step still feels too big, one tap on Split turns it into two.

Status
Path is fully functional and open to sign up, but it has no active user base — it was built to show what's buildable, not to chase growth. The interesting result isn't a metric; it's that two non-developers took it from an idea to a deployed, authenticated, AI-powered product at all.
